Day 1 (23rd Dec): Tour Begins – Journey to Sundarbans

  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM:
    Your tour starts from Esplanade or Park Street Bus Stop. Board an AC Bus and begin your journey towards the Sundarbans. Enjoy the scenic three-hour drive to Godkhali, with a stop for breakfast or tea along the way.
  • 12:00 PM:
    Arrive at Godkhali and transfer to a motorboat. Embark on a boat cruise to Sajnekhali, where you’ll witness the peaceful riverside life of the locals as you sail towards the resort.
  • 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM:
    Check-in at your Resort/Hotel with a warm welcome drink. After freshening up, savor a traditional Bengali lunch.
  • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM:
    Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the Sundarbans. As evening approaches, take in the beautiful sunset over the river.
  • 7:00 PM:
    Immerse yourself in the local culture with a lively Cultural Program featuring traditional folk dance and music.
  • 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM:
    After a delicious dinner, enjoy a restful overnight stay in the Sundarbans.

Day 2 (24th Dec): Sundarban Sightseeing and Wildlife Exploration

  • 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM:
    Start your day early with a cup of tea and set off on a boat cruise to explore the wildlife of the Sundarbans. Keep an eye out for Royal Bengal Tigers (if you’re lucky!), crocodiles, deer, and a variety of birds.
  • 10:00 AM:
    Return to the hotel for breakfast.
  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM:
    Visit the Sudhanyakhali Watchtower, a prime spot to catch a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Enjoy lunch on the boat while cruising through the scenic waterways.
  • 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM:
    Head to the Dobanki Watchtower and experience a thrilling canopy walk. Take in the panoramic views of the dense jungle below.
  • 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM:
    Cruise to Panchmukhani, where five rivers converge, offering breathtaking sights and serene beauty.
  • 5:30 PM:
    Return to the hotel and relax after a day full of adventure.

    Unwind with a cozy Bonfire and Barbecue (seasonal), enjoying the calm atmosphere under the stars.

Day 3 (25th Dec): Christmas Day & Departure

  • 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM:
    Merry Christmas! After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed on a village tour. Experience the rich culture and lifestyle of the local villagers, learning about their traditions and way of life.
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM:
    Return to Godkhali and transfer to your vehicle for the journey back to Kolkata. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant en route (at your own cost).
  • 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM:
    Arrive back in Kolkata with fond memories of your Sundarban adventure.
